#Brief History of OUTIN FUTURES
The founder of OUTIN FUTURES (아우딘퓨쳐스) Choi Young-Wook studied Chemical Engineering at AJOU University and joined Amorepacific as a researcher in 1995.
He did various works regarding product management at Amorepacific: developing makeup products, design, management of imported products, etc.
He always wanted to be a brand manager to develop a full range of a brand but his dream did not come true at Amorepacific.
He decided to leave the company to start his own business and founded a cosmetics manufacturing company OUTIN FUTURES in 2000.
With his knowledge and skill set from the experience at Amorepacific, he shortly obtained orders from various big companies like ETUDE HOUSE and Woongjin Cosmetics.
Thanks to his design ability, not only manufacturing contract, he tried to win orders for design works and OUTIN FUTURES could become a official design agency of Amorepacific in 2003.

#Own Brand Business
In 2009, OUTIN FUTURES launched its own line "NEOGEN" and opened NEOGEN online shopping mall.
They established their first fatory in Seongnam-si in 2010 and then established the R&D Lab and manufacturing facilities in Chungju in 2014.
Before the Chungju R&D Lab era, OUTIN FUTURES had prepared various business bases.
After its successful launch of NEOGEN, they launched NEOGEN DERMALOGY in 2010 to expand their own brand business.
In 2011, they established an independent Design Lab and now over 10 designers work at the lab to strengthen its design abilities and to create OUTIN FUTURES' own unique design.
Not as other manufacturers that look for China market, OUTIN FUTURES tried North America and Europe markets to expand their business.
In 2015, OUTIN FUTURES started selling NEOGEN through a quite new K-beauty e-commerce startup SOKO GLAM as their first step into North America market.
In 2016, they launched NEOGEN on Sephora USA (currently discontinued), Selfridges in UK, and Douglas in Germany, and Sephora Spain for better global presence.
While many other Korean cosmetics manufacturers and brands were struggling with a political issue (THAAD missile) with China, OUTIN FUTURES had received relatively less impact from it.
"All those small/medium sized cosmetics manufacturers seek for opportunities from China and never think of markets like Europe or USA. We expect positive sales from those regions this year (2017), THAAD issue can be solved by how we diversify the market."
While OUTIN FUTURES keep broadening their own brand business, they also work with many other big brands like Amorepacific, Innisfree, Etude House, The Face Shop, The Saem, Dr.Jart, etc. as a manufacturer.
OUTIN FUTURES went public in the first half of 2017 in Korea stock market (KOSDAQ) and now looks for faster and bigger growth in very near future.

1. NEOGEN DERMALOGY - BIO-PEEL Gentle Gauze Peeling Wine

Although now many other brands sell similar items, this new type of peeling product was firstly introduced by NEOGEN in Korea.

With its spray type applicator, it is easier for a user to apply it onto skin evenly.
This item was selected as "K-beauty of the Year" in 2017.
3. ETUDE HOUSE - AC Clean Up Liquid Patch
This trouble care liquid patch helps build thin & safe skin barrier that smoothly applies and gets dried to be settle instantly.
It is good to apply before makeup steps so that it keeps skin safe from makeup agents.
4. Innisfree - True Care PHA Toner Pad
This dead skin cell and sebum care PHA toning pad gets idea of gauze applicator from NEOGEN gauze peeling pad.
After washing, this PHA toning pad helps balance pH level easily with its pad applicator.
5. Dr.Jart - Dermask Shaking Rubber Line
This fun package with high quality mask is launched by Dr.Jart.
Put both booster and ampoule into the package cup and shake it: Then it becomes smooth rubber texture mask pack which can be applied onto skin firmly to care dead skin cell and to nourish skin.
